If Brynja's music was a season, it would be spring. Even when exploring her darker sides, there is hope to be found. The soft-spoken Icelandic musician tackles topics like inequality and global warming, alongside her personal challenges and love life. Her music creates a space for her listeners to reflect and accept ups and downs as a part of life's journey.
Brynja studied contemporary dance in Listaháskóli Íslands and audio engineering at SAE in Amsterdam. In the Netherlands she got to know a group of international musicians that became her close friends and collaborators. Together they shared a studio space where a lot of music and memories were created, among other things; her upcoming album. Brynja’s latest releases have had success on radio, streaming platforms and have gotten placement in the Netflix series Katla.
