Biography
ArnarArna is an acoustic indie project lead by singer-songwriter Arnar Arnarson. Originally from Iceland, he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, where he met his band members in 2018.
In 2021 ArnarArna released their first single ‘Country Love Song’, which dominated the Danish ‘Hear Us Music’ charts for 5 consecutive weeks and gained them recognition in both Iceland and Denmark.
They have since released 3 more singles called in preparation for their very first EP that will be released in its totality later this year.

The Icelandic band ArnarArna releases their newest single ‘Water and Radio’ on friday the 18th of march. It marks the fourth single of their up and coming self titled EP.
The song, an upbeat and cheerful acoustic pop song, is reminiscent of warm summer nights. “It’s about having fun and being in the moment”, singer Arnar Hrafn shares, “about how a good night can feel like a good story with a lot of romance. The name of the song came to be because it reminds us of the song ‘Coffee and TV’ by Blur, so it became ‘Water and Radio’”.
The band has been far from sitting still. Having made use of the time made available over the past two years, they have come up with enough material to complete their debut album. “We can’t wait to release our EP because that means we can show you what we’ve recently been working on.”
The band, based in Denmark, previously released three singles of which ‘Country Love Song’ dominated the Danish ‘Hear Us Music’ charts for 5 consecutive weeks.
